Overview
About Me
I'm an young artist and activist for the rights of nature and humans. I'm finding myself in and through the world ☆
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people and new versions of myself through traveling
I also think the best way to dive in the culture is to be with local people
Traveling should not be about taking in but also about giving out. Traveling should be about learning and I think Couchsurfing is the best way to do that.
Interests
I play the flute since I'm 7. I play a bit of guitar and piano. I write poetry. I make movies (mainly as a director), art-installations, visual art, sensory theater. I'm into composing, photography, theater, performance.
I lead an eco-friendly life. I'm vegetarian.
If I have to name my top 3 biggest passions they will be art, nature and travelling.
- poetry
- festivals
- cooking
- crochet
- music
- ecology
- philosophy
- art
- films
- feminism
- queer rights
- train travel
- anarchism
Music, Movies, and Books
I usually say I listen to all things around rock (meaning psycadelia, funk, punk, metal, blues, jazz, experimental music, electronic music, folk, world music, it's a far stretch:) I change my favourite book, song and movie every day, depending on the day but all time favourite directors will be Agnes Varda, Wes Anderson, Wang Kar-wai and writers Tove Jansson, Milan Kundera...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived on an abandoned island in the middle of a lake with no way to travel to a different place for 2 weeks. The purpose of that experience was to create art - a sensory theater.
Because the last one is a bit old but still I like it and will keep it (and I'm still creating sensory theater, recently even directed my first one) I'm adding a new amazing thing - I won one of the biggest poetry competitions in the world, first Bulgarian author to do so, Mili Dieli, over 711 people from 105 countries competed. This resulted in the publishing of my first book "Little Yellow Ball"
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some interesting conversations, a very diverse musical playlist (I always like being the DJ), teach you how to play flute... I look after myself (regarding cleaning, navigation, generally being kind and thoughtful) so you don't have to worry about me.
