About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get as much experience as I can, and to spread positive energy aka good vibrations :D

ABOUT ME

Well, you already know my name. I'm from Croatia, small town called Šibenik (Shibenik), but currently living in Split. I'm an ex student of maritime engineering. I played in a bend (still playing bass, drums, guitar on occasion - I'm a bit rusty but...), I also write novels. Well, simplest way to describe myself is to say that I'm an artist. Just observing everything I see in life, hear or feel and interpret in the form of art in some point in some way.

PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to live this life best I can, and that means capturing the moment and, of course, living it. My purpose, however is to hang out with all good people, willing to share their opinion and knowledge because... every day is a step forward. Every moment is a chance to climb up, one stair at the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It hasn't been very rich till recently, but...! I did hosted once and I did surfed (also once). What can I say about that? It was awesome. Like, this time I surfed I was in Zagreb and without a place to sleep. I went to educational festival called 'Putovanje je znanje' which means Traveling is knowledge, and there was a girl that had presentation about couchsurfing. She was interesting, confident, showing us photos and memories of her couchsurfing friends. Anyway, soon as the presentation has ended I went to this girl and introduced myself. It was my first live couchsurf request (and so was hers). Anyway, she said it's perfectly fine and that I can stay at her flat for this one night I needed.
Anyway, I came to her apartment around 10 pm. and she had three dogs and one of them was very protective (like, it barks (very noisy) at the first sound that comes out of the doors). Shortly, I think my arrival woke up the entire building. Fun, fun. Later on it turns out they're quite lovely, and all they ever wanted was cuddle.
My host and I had some realy long conversations, and I even dyed her hair because she had to go to some wedding the next day. I enjoyed that company and enjoyed that experience. Can't wait to meet more people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't know, they're just too many. But I do like them :D

Just kidding. Let's say it like this. I don't like the industry. I don't like movies, music, books that are made just beacaouse their maker wanted to earn money. I don't like showbiz. What I like is true art. Form of expression trough painting/words/melodies. I like it when it comes from the heart; when there is more to it than simple colors or notes. I love it when it gets deeper than that, when you can feel the author in his work, his baby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... Last summer I went hitchhiking with my friend to Varaždin (Špancirfest music festival). We had no friends there (or people we know), no money, place to sleep. We knew nothing but we had out backpacks and sleeping bags. So, we managed to go to Varaždin, and we met tons of different, interesting people. We stayed there for 7 or 8 days and in that time period we never slept outdoors. We met 3-4 groups that were willing to provide us with place to sleep, we were able to drink with them, hang around and have fun all along. It was crazy and 'lifeish'
