My name is Jess, I'm 21 years old - simply put I'm an individual attempting to build my traveling portfolio and meet some amazing people along the way.

What I love most is traveling to a new country and being mistaken for a local. That said, I'm not one for typical tourist sightseeing. I love living as the locals do and want to offer the same experience to others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm not able to host however I would love to meet up with any members wanting to grab a drink and find out more about the paradise I call home. Hopefully, I'll be able to host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During my travels in Spain I had some very lovely people take me in and offer their couches. The people I stayed with were so hospitable and added to my whole traveling experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of the most important things in my life. I can't really specifically label one genre that supersedes the other although reggae, classic rock and opera do take up most of the room on my iPod.

I've found that I've been reading lots of old Russian literature recently; namely Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy and Nabokov. Although being a Spanish student I have come to love the various works of the amazing South American and Spanish authors I've read.
