I a big fan of Miranda July. So I'd say her two movies, "Me and You and Everyone We Know" and "The Future", are two of my favorites. I also really like her book called "No one belongs here more than you".

Oh and I've once spent a whole evening (well, a couple minutes) googling different colors of lobsters. So much fun.
