I volunteer my time with a group called Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, a SUPER FUN way to spend an hour or two while you are visiting NYC!! It really adds a meaningful touch to your visit and you get to see nooks and crannies that you probably would not have seen otherwise.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Boulder Colorado, with the beautiful mountains at my back! Followed the mountains west to the Cascades and have recently departed the PNW to live in a city of mountainous building!!

I live because I love life. and I love life because I live. I Appreciate all that I have been able to experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since moving to NYC, my couch is full of visitors without opening it up on CS! Sadly I do not have space right now...maybe when it is dreadfully hot this summer and not many family and friends are visiting!! :/

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed on a couch in Athens & Crete in Greece and in Asisi in Italy. I have just begun couch surfing in the States and have thus far had a fabulous time! I have met many people that are a part of the community...my family in Boulder has hosted couch surfers and that has been fun for them...

Interesses

being around humans, movement: dance, yoga, walking, stillness. Baking deliciousness. sipping something scrumptious...conversing. I am also passionate about civic engagement, community building and working to end poverty and hunger in the US!
