Overview
About Me
We (my husband and I) come from the culture of Southern hospitality. We believe hosts should try to keep their guests comfortable, safe, well fed, and joyful...without constantly fussing over them. Guests should respect their hosts' space, tastes, and beliefs, and do what they can to make their visit stressless and interesting.
We especially value experiences (on either side of the equation) where we have great conversations and lots of laughter, then later marvel at how much we learned.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For most of my life, I've wanted to travel, but felt I couldn't afford it. We're excited to contribute to a community that helps make travel---with all of its splendid potential for relationships and experiences---more accessible to others.
