ABOUT ME

I'm Anthony, 32 this year, from Singapore, which is at the Equator in case you've never heard of us. It's always 30+ degrees centigrade, and this compels me to fling myself to the Arctic every winter. Finland was wonderful, though I did not manage to catch the Aurora as often as I hoped to(I stayed a month). I'm not a clubber or a party-goer, but I love to chill with a beer peppered with some light conversation. I play classical piano, read 19th century literature(favourites include Villette, and Mill on the Floss), and have been a gym bunny for the past 8 months running. A weird mix there I know, but I tend to dabble in everything. :)

The practicalities: I'm a high school teacher specializing in english literature and general music. I'm agnostic, and I'm pretty much a meat eater. I do not expect my hosts to cook for me or provide food for me at all, as I can afford to eat out. What I just need is a roof over my head, a nice bed, and good company.

I just started hosting recently and it's been a positive experience, with wonderfully open-minded and fascinating people so far. I intend to start surfing soon, provided my requests in Norway go through successfully!

The Tricky Lady revealed herself in the sky to me in Finland last winter, for a whole hour.

Driving across barrier-less mountain roads in Westfjords of Iceland, and panicking at every moment how I might plunge off the cliff and die. And then seeing the lovely Icelandic puffins after said dangerous driving.
