ABOUT ME
So I guess, here's the place where I should tell you all about me, huh? Let the journey begin, shall we?
* Patriot -
I come from a country called Taiwan, a country now only 24 nations recognized as a country. Somewhere deep inside of me, really has those patriotism going on, that means sometimes I'll get a bit aggressive while talking about my country. And of course, discussion and debates are always welcome :)
* Introverts -
I know it sounds weird, but let me get this straight. I'm not really good at starting a conversation, especially with new people (even with someone I've known for quite some time). It always bothers me, but I'm practicing and yes I'm improving.
* Miranda -
So, I'm not saying I'm that kinda person. If you've seen the movie, you'll definitely recall the scene that Miranda needs Emily to memorize the names of the guest. Well, I'm super bad with names, especially it's a long, unfamiliar that kinda names. I'm also trying to make this work out, but still not improving that much. So please don't get mad if I pronounce your name wrong or simply just forget your name.
* Sentimentalist -
I'm pretty emotional, I see friendship, relationship, brotherhood, etc. as the most important thing of all. That makes me cry pretty easily while saying good bye. Don't judge, it's just who I am.
* Foody -
Personally, I really love food. Simply every food. That's why I like to cook, to spend times in the kitchen and to dive into the recipes. Now here I don't mean any fancy dishes or stuff, I'm more into traditional, local or homely meal. If I have a chance, I'll cook for you :)
* Ten-minutes-faster-watch -
I'm that kinda person like to be punctual, it doesn't mean I can't stand others to be late, it's just I like the feeling of everything is under control. Like if some occasions like forgetting something really important but you're already on your way to the destination, you'll be able to handle such problem if you're a bit earlier. And yeah, I know sometimes it can freak someone out.
* Mature-looking -
Yes, I'm 18. Somehow, my face just doesn't ages in the same pace, it goes way faster. It's not a bad thing, is it?
* MUN-addicted -
MUN stands for Model United Nations. I have become addicted to it after when I participated my very first MUN in Germany. If you're interested in it, we can have a conversation on this :)
* Gay -
I think I really have to get this through. Because I can neither host a homophobia nor surf a homophobia's coach, and I'm sure it's the same thing the other way around. I'll always put this in the last of my description if there's any update. In that way, I can make sure everyone had at least read through my introduction.
PHILOSOPHY
It's pretty hard to put my philosophy into words and sentences, but I'll try my best to make it happen.
What's even harder, these philosophy is like something you-learn-as-you-go kinda thing.
*When there's a will, there's a way.
*Be proud of who you are.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While surfing, I'm always open to any kinds of lifestyle, way of living or eating habits. But of course, if you're doing drugs or something else alike, that's another story. (getting a bit dark here :/ )
While hosting, I'm also trying to give whatever I have. Try my best to make the surfer feeling like being home, although it's kinda like mission impossible :P
Overall, being open minded is the principle.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'll list them here from now on :)

Interests
I'll have to say, I have a lot, and I'm sure I'll forget something really important. Anyway, I'll just list some of them that I can recall now.
* Cooking -
we can swap our cooking methods or recipe
* Music -
I can play a little piano, flute and guitar, but never master them (it doesn't sounds like a good thing is it?)
* Dogs -
When I see dogs, I'll immediately turn into a fan girl mode.
* Singing -
I sing while taking a shower, I sing while I'm cooking, I sing while I'm doing my homework... I sing pretty much every moment while I'm awake.
* Walking -
I really like walking, for real. I usually walk a lot when I was traveling. I just like the way you can feel your feet on the ground.
* Biking -
Not really like those off-road biking, but biking like a way to see the city or stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's really hard for me to name my favorite music, movies and books. It usually depends on the mood I have at that moment. All kinds of them are welcome actually :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are also a lot of them, then again I can't bring them all out at once, I'll try to update them in the future.
* Smile -
When I volunteering at Indonesia, the last thing I'll forget is the smile on everyone's face. Although they don't like a wealthy life, not even sufficient life, but they still smile through.
* Feast -
Also happened in Indonesia. Before the day I left, I wen to the market to buy some ingredient with other volunteers, trying to make a feast for them, thanking them for what they're given. While it's all ready, not even the kids, the parents were all stunned by the result we've made. They've never ever got a chance to eat something alike, I actually cried a little after that :P
* Beer -
Firstly, I'm not an alcoholic. I don't drink like everyday, I drink in special occasions like meeting new friends or parties. When I was in Munich, I met lots of interesting people from all over the world in HB. That's probably the best beer memory of all :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't really have special talent or stuff, but I can teach you how to play piano, guitar and flute, but just some basic ones. Or maybe we can share some tips of cooking.
Of course we can change our travel experience and something we enjoy respectively.
Most important of all, I believe everyone has something for me to learn. There's a proverb goes in Chinese: 三人行,必有我師焉。 Means that, there will be one person that can teach me something in every three people.
