About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to see the world and soak up the experiences.

ABOUT ME

I have two beautiful adult kids. I am looking to break out of my shell and see the world.

My house is smallish but when my child is not home I have two extra beds and a couch to sleep on.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm striving to be an honest, kind person. I want to give back to the world, because so many people have been so kind to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Anyway I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I coach-surfed at Suren's place and it was awesome! I have also been to several places in America and one couch surfing experience in France.

Interests

Anything and everything...especially new stuff. I can't say that I've done much yet, but I'm ready to try. I do like good conversation, good food and wine. And I really like ballroom dancing, latin dancing and really any kind of dancing. I have 18 years experience in dance—that being said—I should be better than I am…

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most kinds of music, but I hardly ever know the artists, and I like sappy chick flicks and old movies with Jimmy Stewart, Ginger Rogers, and Fred Astaire...etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I gave birth to two kids. That is the most exciting thing I ever did. However, I am looking to find new adventures out there. I also rode my bicycle 100 miles which was not easy for me...I'm pretty slow for long distances. I competed in country ballroom dance and went to the Worlds Competition in Orlando Florida. I went to France & Mexico City on a shoestring budget, hostels, couch surfing, and staying with old friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I bake bread, and like to cook. I bike ride and take any kind of dance lessons.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Latin, West Coast or Ballroom Dance lessons or teach them to bake bread. I like to go to see music being played and I love having fun.

Countries I’ve Visited

Dominican Republic, France, Mexico, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin (French part)

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
