ABOUT ME

I'm a geologist and a poet by training, which basically means I spend a lot of time reading books in the woods. Speaking of books, there's this great book called "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien, which suggests that a person is best known by the things they carry with them. So here's a list of things in my backpack right now. Make of it what you will.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Many moons ago I was fortunate enough to couchsurf with some fantastic folks in the US, Germany, Ukraine, and elsewhere. I went on hiatus from Couchsurfing for awhile, but now that I'm finally in my own place, I'm eager to pay back all the incredible hospitality I received as a surfer.
