Hi there,

As you can see my name is Belen. I am basically a child inside an adult body -quite small body.... Officially, I work as a critical care nurse though what I am really good with it is kids. I enjoy mostly doing anything which implicates the use of my brain, but especially I love reading, cycling, hiking, the company of my friends and food....I love food. Of course, one of my other passion is to travel but not just to go to a place for a couple of days and that is it. When I travel I like to join the real people from the place, go to these amazing small and hidden typical places that only locals know. When possible I love to spend at least a month in the place I am visiting, normally combining it with work or volunteering. Because the more time you spend wherever you are, the more you get into the culture, the more you learn, understand and enjoy. My dream is... to became an aid worker.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have any favorite music, I guess what I listen to depends on the moment or my mood. But I certainly hate electro....

My favorite movie is ... "Pay it forward" and I wouldn't be able to name a favorite book. I could say "Bombay smiles" or "Tuesdays with Morrie" but there are so many good books....Oh, I am definitely a Harry Potter freak!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I went to volunteer for 3 months and in order to fundraise money for the charity, I wore the same clothes for a week - a t-shirt and a pair of shorts... in the middle of the winter in England...
