About Me
Hi!
My name is Brian. I like to think of myself as laid-back, creative, friendly, open-minded, goofy, philosophical, and always looking for an adventure!
I love reading, drinking tea, playing with dogs, riding bikes, traveling to remote, tropical islands, scuba diving, meeting new people, and basking in the sun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One day, when I actually grow roots somewhere, I'd love to open up my place to fellow vagabond, gypsy, wandering, adventuresome travelers like myself. In the mean time, however, I'd love to explore couches around the world and meet those that have already done so!
Interests
Reading, writing poetry, cooking/eating healthy but delicious food, traveling to warm, tropical climates, video editing, theatre, bike riding, adventures, scuba diving, dogs, playing the saxophone and ukulele, and learning new skills.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love acoustic singer/songwriters like Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer as well as classical music, EDM, and folk, depending on my mood.
I am currently reading the 2nd book in the King Killer Chronicles, A Wise Man's Fear, and it is amazing. Patrick Rothfuss is a brilliant storyteller.
Some recent movies that I have enjoyed are Predestination, Good Kill, and Ruby Sparks.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving down to a WW2 Japanese shipwreck in the Philippines! Hiked to the top of Mt. Whitney (14,552 ft.), the tallest mountain in the continental US.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new languages. Since I lived in South Korea for 1 1/2 years, I know a little bit of Hangul and would love to learn more.
I really enjoy cooking and would love to share recipes and some delicious dishes with you!
I play the ukulele and could teach you some chords and how to play, "You've Got a Friend in Me!" If you're seasoned at any instrument, I would absolutely LOVE to absorb your knowledge and learn any skills you can offer.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A relaxed attitude, great conversation, and good vibes!
