After spending the equivalent of a couple years traveling in my 20's to over 40+ countries as backpacker, I settled down to a bit more tame life in Colorado filled with the awesomeness of raising a child and exploring things closer to home. Now that I am single and have the ability to get back out and do some traveling, I'm getting the itch to take on some more adventures. As a parent, my time frame for trips it a bit more limited, but I am seeking to condense the experiences into frequent but shorter travel times (7-10 days). As a host, I love the town I live in of Golden, where there is lots of fun activities to participate in just out the front door (hiking, biking, tubing the creek, skiing, etc) and if my schedule allows, I'm happy to either participate in or at least give recommendations on what would be a fun day or two in town would be. I surf and promote the CS cause at any chance. I love getting to know people, hear their story, and know their what drives them in this life we all share. I also look forward to repaying the enormous hospitality I have seen so far on CS on my own wanderings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in South America, Middle East, SE Asia, and Europe. All great hangs and great people. These people all have given me faith in how the human experience can be so rich if we all are open and willing to share our interests and talents with each other.

Golden is a magical town with lots of great hikes, rides, water activities, and breweries. My home is walking distance to all of this so it makes for a great base camp. The light rail from Denver goes to Golden.
