ABOUT ME

Born and raised in good 'ole Lancaster County, Pennsylvania a.k.a. Amish Country. I have been doing freelance work as a personal trainer and fighting the "good fight". Currently, I've been accepted to school out in Spokane, Washington. So I bought my ticket for Sunday to begin my journey in the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in Amish Country surrounded by corn stalks, I guess I needed a change of scenery.

This past summer I served with a Christian missions organization, Josiah Venture, to lead youth English/Sport camps all over the Czech Republic. This trip changed my life and gave me a passion for travel and experiencing God's creation. Ever since this trip, I've realized that, "War is God’s way of teaching Americans geography," (Rolf Potts) and I don't want to be that American.

MY MISSION
To empower the youth of the world through sport and fitness. Helping them to find their identity and true worth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am completely new to Couchsurfing; however, I've heard nothing but good things about Couchsurfing. I'd love the chance to travel and meet new people along the way.

WHY I AM ON COUCHSURFING

Currently I've been accepted to school out in Washington. I have a flight to Seattle on Sunday and no place to stay. Then the following night I get off a late night train and also have nowhere to stay. If you are in those areas and looking for a fellow couchsurfer, please consider me. Since I just joined Couchsurfing, I'm not verified. If you are interested in Skyping or another method of verification, please let me know.

I have a huge library, but some of the books that jump out at me are "Love Does" by Bob Goff and "Vagabonding" by Rolf Potts

Served for three months with a Christian missions organization in the Czech Republic: leading English/Sport camps, developing relationships with the Czech youth and traveling around the country.

I know a bit about health and fitness training from being a personal trainer for a few years. I could share about my fun experiences around the world, but with your help I'd love to have more stories to share. I have experience teaching English and sports to others.

I want to know more about everything. All of the things I mentioned above as well as anything at my fingertips. I truly believe in the philosophy of having a young mind. You can always learn more from others and this way you don't become a dinosaur set in your old ways. I'm always eager to learn more about art: photography, videography, writing and graphic design. I'm super curious and wanting to learn about people as well. I'd definitely love to be a better cook and learn some new languages.

Most of all, I think I'm a good friend. I'm loyal, kind, a good listener and I love having fun.
