We hope everyone is safe. If you need a respite from the fires, we have a room. Stay well and love each other.

We prefer guests from other countries. We like the exchange of good will and guests from other countries are less needy.

We want to be a respite on the way somewhere and help out, but we aren’t the journey.

We have a special needs sons, that takes most of our time - and we love it!

But we also like having adventurers come to stay a night or two - so we can live vicariously through them.

We have hosted a lot of couchsurfers and so far the experience has been great! Everyone's got a story and they've all been interesting. At the moment we aren't doing much traveling. We thought this would be a fun way to meet new people and learn about different cultures.

We don’t host long term stays, we prefer a max of three nights.

My partner and I live in Oxnard a few miles from the beach. We can offer our spare bedroom and private spare bathroom.

At the moment we are looking to host travelers. At some point we may want to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've hosted close to 40 couchsurfer's so far and have had great experiences. Everyone's got a story and they're all interesting.

We like to be silly, have fun, cook, eat, walk the dogs. Go out to dinner, host our friends for dinner.

It's a bit of a cultural exchange, we can learn about other cultures while they learn about ours.
