ABOUT ME

We are a couple aged 27 and 30 who like meeting people and seeking out adventure. We love to laugh, have fun and 'philosophise' especially over a good beer/wine. Dominika has a special interest in Pacific Island culture (being born in Fiji herself) and is trained in written journalism with a background in Communications. She used to work as an internal comms/designer/web administrator for the New Zealand company Quitline). Brad has a background in graphic design and likes rugby, cricket and football. We both like the outdoors, going to museums, pubs, and good food places. We're both non-smokers and vegetarians and are a little bit tech-geeky. We're very open-minded people and enjoy meeting new people - that's why we want to travel the couch-surfing way :-)

PHILOSOPHY

We live life to enjoy and treasure it. We actively seek to help in ways that we can and we make sure to be informed about the decisions that we make. Life is a beautiful collection of random situations.

We host surfers in Wellington and will continue to host surfers when we settle down again.

Books: Political thrillers, sci-fi, fantasy, drama, modern literature, non-fiction travel. E.g. Elegance of a Hedgehog, The Reader, Wizard of Earthsea, Red Dwarf, Bill Bryson, Memoirs of a Geisha.
Movies: Superhero, rom com, action, comedy, drama, documentaries, arthouse and a lot of 80s ones. I think all genres except horror.

The road to Glenorchy and the region called Middle March in the South Island of NZ. Words cannot describe these places :-)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Can teach people how to juggle, play ukulele, speak a bit of Maori or Fijian, learn about the Pacific, share some design knowledge.
