Overview
About Me
Well Im a 28 year old male from Australia, I think I`m pretty easy to get along with, chilled happy and friendly guy. I absolutely love any board I can put under my feet, surfing, snowboarding and skating (mostly longboarding) are my top 3. I appreciate a great coffee and a hard days work. I go out 4wd on the sand dunes in my hometown with my mates and love to camp out there when I can. My view is that the closer we get to nature the happier we are. The more we can put each other outside our comfort zone the more we grow, learn and can live a better life. I have a girlfriend of 5 years who I travel with as much as we can. I have travelled South America for 3 months. Central America for 6 months. 2 months snowboarding in Japan. Borneo, Singapore, USA, Fiji, Vietnam, Cambodia, UAE, and few more. Happy to help out with info on these places for anyone that is interested.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think just like Hostel travel, it is a great way to meet people both when I travel and when they come to my hometown. When people come to visit me in Newcastle I find I show them around and do things that I forget are there and regain a greater appreciation for my city and sometimes find new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty much anything to be honest. Love a bit of chilled out John Mayer and Jack Johnson but also like to get into a bit of the harder stuff when the mood seems right.
Movies: I am a sucker for a good trilogy like The Hunger Games, Matrix and even a sneaky Harry Potter here and there. Also love a good inspirational fight movie like Never back down, Rockys and Southpaw.
Books: Im not a huge reader but do fall victim to the Occasional sort your shit out book like the 4 hour work week.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To be honest just all the cliff diving, Scuba diving and volcano hiking I have done through Central America. The one that probably stands out the most was Scuba Diving Chuc-Mool part of the Caving system (Cenotes) in Mexico. The clarity the absolute difference in diving to anywhere in the world and the fact that not many people have experienced it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share information about any of the places I have travelled. Attempt to teach how to surf, snowboard or skate. I have a few dishes that I can cook half decent. I think I can make a pretty mean Omelette or cook up a great salmon dish for dinner.
