Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, but I am comfortable when I am able to control what I do and set my schedule in advance. By staying with other people, I know I'll likely be forced to do things I wouldn't consciously choose to do and it's perfectly reasonable that I'll be better off for it. I want to become a more open, welcoming person and folding that mentality into my travels should help me get there.

I've sung onstage at the Sydney Opera House as a member of my high school Concert Choir back in 2012.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play the piano, guitar, and sitar, as well as dabbling in the violin and mandolin. I've also studied tai chi, and I enjoy leading people through some of the different forms.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If there's a piano and/or a guitar, I can play songs as well as compose on the fly (the quality of said songs cannot be guaranteed). I also study Chinese/Japanese/Korean calligraphy, and I enjoy sharing the process of creating that particular art
