Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to CS but not to couches...Currently looking for people to host me in and around the san francisco area whilst travelling from one bakery to the next.
None yet...unofficially hosted many a weary wanderer/couchless persons, on various couches over the years.
Sourdough, the crackly song of freshly baked bread, dawn of the day, middle of the night, good company, cooking, feeding hungry folk, cheese, red wine, straight rum with ice, dancing till the early hours, laughing, musical exploration, swimming outdoors, old hand painted signs, Lettering, permanent markers, bicycling, bouldering till exhaustion, clear winter mornings, learning, exploring, the unknown...
- red wine
- outdoor activities
- rock climbing
Music, Movies, and Books
Films: Night on Earth, Down by Law, Serpico, Taxi Driver, badly dubbed martial arts films, 13 Assassins, The Godfather, Waking Life, Groundhog day....hundreds more
Musical preference is too broad to condense into a box...but give me a bit of funk, soul and reggae and I'm happy.
Recent reads...under the net, frankenstien, the old man and the sea, heart of darkness, high fidelity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
seeing Marva Whitney backed by Osaka monaurail is up the top there, along with sunrise on monday morning at Glastonbury festival and finding a completely desolate 'squeaky' beach at wilsons prom Australia at sunset.
