About Me

Get on alright in Australia for a while, build some skills.

I'm a nothingness, and so are you. Isn't it hilarious?

Love is the only universal ideology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to rebuild the sense of community, reciprocity, and trust that has been siphoned from much of humankind. This website provides a powerful tool for achieving that. In the future, my brother and I would like to establish a travelers' hub in Uruguay. Perhaps we'll become ambassadors, perhaps we'll break off and do our own thing. You know, Zapatistas subtract the guns. Only time will tell.

Also, I'll probably do a bit of couch surfing while I'm in Australia in 2015.

Manhattan, New York, New York (USA) for a week.

Bus trip from Charlotte to Atlanta, then Cincinnati, and up to Chicago. I surfed in all of these locations but Charlotte.

Bombay (Mumbai), Maharashtra, India for 4 days.

Currently surfing couches in Oz.

Reading good books, sitting under trees, exploring the outdoors, meditation, cooking, art, traveling to strange places, learning new skills, meeting amazing people, making life as beautiful as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series, "the Long Walk", and "the Green Mile"
Darren Shan's "Cirque Du Freak" series
"The Hunger Games"
"World War Z"
Thoreau's "Walden"
Jack Kerouac's "On the Road"
Anything by Michio Kaku

Whatever fits my mood. When entertaining folks, I usually ask my friends to "name a color and a shape" and choose tracks to play from there.

I really dig Thievery Corporation, Kings of Leon, Flying Lotus, Bonobo, Nujabes, Houndmouth, The Black Keys and a few servings of Dan Auerbach, Outkast, Komodo, STS9, Fat Jon, DJ Ezasscul, Nightmares on Wax, and Pretty Lights.

Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Cloud Atlas, The Fountain, Inception, Lord of the Rings, War of the Worlds, Cloverfield, 300, Knowing, I am Legend, Star Trek, The Matrix, AI, Heavy Metal, The Wall, Donnie Darko, Fear and Loathing, Charlie Bartlett, and The Truman Show all deserve a mention.

Adventure Time and Breaking Bad are my top series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Visited Manhattan, NYC once for spiritual reasons and again to occupy Wall Street.

-Traveled around the United States for six weeks while living in a van, visiting multiple national parks and cities.

-Spent 9 months exploring the Indian subcontinent, with trekking stints in Sikkim, Zanskar, Ladakh, Spiti, and Govind National Park.

-Completed a 2.5 month excursion through the Nepali Himalaya. Spent time trekking solo through the Annapurna Sanctuary and the Khumbu (Everest region).
