About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to learn and experience EVERYTHING!
ABOUT ME
I am curious, fun-loving, and reflective
PHILOSOPHY
I think it is important to focus on the necessities in life and have a close, personal connection to them (food and shelter). I like to get outside of my own perspective by hearing and exploring what other people think about their personal philosophies (and other things).
The meaning of my life is to create meaning in it. I do this by reflecting on goals that I think have a positive impact beyond myself and that I will enjoy working towards.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I heard about couchsurfing a few years ago and always wanted to be a host, but it has never worked out. First because of a roommate that wasn't OK with it and then because I lived in a housing co-op that didn't allow it. Now I am travelling in Europe and hope to intersperse WWOOFing and hostels/hotels with opportunities to meet local people through couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only had one couch-surfing experience: staying with Susi in Memmingen, Germany. It was fantastic and gave me the urge to do more!
Interests
My ambitions and interests far exceed the time and abilities I have. Currently I am interested in learning more about organic farming and green building and am looking forward to eventually owning a small piece of land where I can "learn by doing." I also am very curious and love to have conversations about a wide-variety of topics. I like engaging in discussion and argument about different ideas, philosophies, and perspectives with people who are also curious and open-minded.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well I am in the middle of a three month trip through Europe that is pretty amazing. A main focus of it has been WWOOFing (World Wide Opportunities in Organic Farms), where I have been working with my girlfriend on two different farms in Germany and learning more about farming. In addition we've been to a lot of cool places along the way (London, Glasgow, Munich, Berlin) and are on our way to several more!
Teach, Learn, Share
As I said, I want to learn and experience EVERYTHING! But specifically right now I am curious about gardening/farming, green/alternative building, learning German, and learning how to play music.
I feel like I can offer interesting conversation about philosophy and can help someone learn English!
