About Me

I'm just a small-island boy who just wants to see what else this world has to offer. I'm a boy of few words, because mostly I like to just listen to people. So I guess you could say I'm a pretty shy guy, but I always try my best to engage in conversations. I like being in places where I could be alone in my own thoughts, because that's when I am most at peace. I do enjoy meeting other people too, and getting to know them and listening to them and their stories, because through them I get to catch glimpses of places I haven't been to and experiences I haven't had. Oh, and I love playing video games too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a movie person or a bookworm. I mostly listen to classic music, from the 70s to early 00s, but I do enjoy listening to current music from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I set off on a trip to Coron by myself with no plans whatsoever, had an amazing experience, and when it was time to fly back home, my flight got cancelled, so I randomly asked them to rebook my flight to Puerto Princesa instead so I could extend my vacation and go see El Nido for 4 more days (since I still had 4 more days off), and I just had the time of my life. Made a good friend and had so much time to reflect on how amazing life is and on how I don't need much in this life to make me happy and fulfilled.

Teach, Learn, Share

As Phil Collin's song from a favorite movie of mine goes, "In learning, you will teach, and in teaching, you will learn." Would love to share a piece of my roots as much as I can, and learn about others' as well. Haven't tried hosting yet, or being hosted for that matter, but I'd also love to extend the same hospitality given to me when you visit my country, and maybe when I get time off from my job, show you places around. Hopefully not just within the capital, but in other great spots here as well.
