ABOUT ME

I am a 22 y/o male and I got my first taste of traveling to another country last year and it really opened my eyes. Theres so much that interests me around the world, history, food, music, sports, culture. I would just like to get the opportunity to share these things with fun people.

PHILOSOPHY

Positive thought. As much as it pains me to write something so "hippy-like", I truly believe you can change your outlook on life by how you think. In the same manner that a hypochondriac can tell themselves that they are sick and need medication, we can convince ourselves that we are healthy and happy with just a different outlook on life.

Honestly I haven't done much participation in these events. Looking to change that soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Again, not a lot of experience with couchsurfing yet, but i did get the opportunity to meet with some other cs'ers at a bar. Talking to most of these guys for only a few minutes sparked my interest to get involved with traveling and see the world.

Interests

I am a huge basketball fan, I will talk your ear off if you have the slightest interest in basketball. I like to snowboard, and skateboard. I like to listen to stories and am really interested in history. Concerts also keep me sane for the most part. Wine tasting. Being happy first and foremost.

What the Bleep do we know?, A Waking Life, Spirited Away, Iron Maiden, Deftones, Black Dahlia Murder, In Flames, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and blues music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the rows of graves and memorials at Arlington Cemetery. Its is really special to see hundreds of thousands of men and womens grave in the same place. Gave me a much deeper appreciation of the world we live in today.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm, I think that I am a pretty good teacher of basketball. Not sure if that is important for anyone to know but some may like that. Also, maybe I could teach some travelers from out of the country about the history of the United States if there interested. I would be willing to learn and share anything that other people are interested in.
