ABOUT ME

Bram is a servant and a friend to all. He loves to help people and does what he can to encourage them. People often comment on the variety of friends he keeps, as there is no standard type that he sticks to. He can be an odd ball at times, as he does what he discerns to be right, not what people expect him to do (at the same time seeking wise counsel and not just relying on feelings). He's a thinker, and likes to analyze but can overdo it sometimes and get caught up in ideals rather than reality. He loves the Lord, and is passionate about seeking God and finding adventure in wherever the Lord leads. He loves to wait upon the Lord and seek His face and counsel. He is defined only by what the Lord says of Him, and carries humility and authority to walk in awareness of his own weaknesses and also see himself in the strength the Lord gives him

Interessi

Bram loves stories, both sharing and hearing, and he loves to sit around and talk to people and hear the stories that have shaped and influenced their lives.
He really loves music, but is careful not to let himself be defined by a musical genre or culture and instead try to bridge the gap between other music lovers. He seeks to appreciate music and art and to hear and see it through the senses of those who love it.
He loves to cook, although has only started learning how to in the past year.
He loves to sit in the presence of God and learn to be silent and hear His voice.
Bram loves adventure, and trying new things, and is currently inspired by Huckleberry Finn to wander and live off the resources around him and find adventure in the small things.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Bram takes a lot of pleasure in the small things of life, but loves the grand adventures too. These adventures, however, are not defined by the big moments, but the small pieces of the journey. The process, more than the outcome.
June of 2012, Bram moved into an Intentional Christian Community called the Incarnation House. There, he and his fellow housemates are seeking to grow in relationship to one another as well as immerse themselves in the local community around them. They want to love on their community, as well as learn from those around them and see the value that is already there, despite what others may see in the more run-down area of town they live in. They seek to be good neighbors and get to know the people that walk their streets everyday. This has been more of a lifestyle change than a moment, but it has been awe-inspiring either way to see what the Lord has done in their own lives and also in the lives of those around them.
