ABOUT ME

We are to blond dutchies live together in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, and both are addicted to travelling.
That´s why we are travelling on the moment, for 6 months in New Sealand, Australia and South America.

PHILOSOPHY

Like to meet other people, learn about different cultures and enjoy of traveling around.
And a sentence we found in a museum in Brisbane:

´Spaceship Earth has no passengers, we are all crew´.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

just started with couchsurfing as a surfer. Our experience so far are really good!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed in Port Macquarie (Australia). A lovely place and we stayed at a great & friendly person. And wemet a couchsurfer in Buenos Aires, who learned us to make and drink ´Mate´.
We hope to do it soon again!

Interests

As described before we really like to traveling around. We are also both sporty persons who like walking, cycling, and other sports! Meeting interested places & other people and cultures is what we do a lot during our trips!

Music, Movies, and Books

Different kinds of music. Like to read everything, from newspapers, romans to travelingbooks.
The last time we saw some Spanish movies in the buses in Argentina. Good for my Spanisch, but forgot the name of the movie..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

uhm traveling around, see different places.
The last interesting we saw was snow! In Ushuaia and El Calten. And the landscape was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mieke was teacher on a primary school in Holland, so if you like to learn about Holland, Dutch or what the children learn in Holland she can learn you!
On the moment want to learn Spanish!
