Preparing for a 14-16-month round the world trip, beginning in January 2013

ABOUT ME

I was born in Slovenia (then Yugoslavia), moved to the U.S.A. two weeks before my second birthday, and returned to Slovenia permanently in 2004. And I'm staying.

I work as an editor and reporter and am on the road myself quite a bit, especially in the summer months, but am always happy to show visitors around Ljubljana, a city I still discover something new about each day. (Usually something good, too.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to host travelers passing through Ljubljana, I can spend a few hours playing tour guide, go for a daylong bike ride if time is available, or just meet for a drink or two to chat.

That said, I understand that some people enjoy couchsurfing because it helps them find a free place to sleep. Those people are welcome as well. :)
