I like to think that I am pretty easy going, but everyone has their vices. I keep my house pretty tidy and would expect guests to do the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in meeting new people outside of my inner circle of friends. I enjoy learning about others life journeys. Though I may not always agree with others ideas and opinions, I do appreciate the way that others view the world around them. I am open to the idea of sharing my home in hopes that one day, when I am ready to do some serious traveling, that someone as trustworthy as myself will host me. It feels good to help someone out and give back. I have been tossing around the idea of backpacking through Europe and it sure would be nice if I had some insight from others who have experienced traveling abroad.

Interests

Of course my favorite thing to do is travel and experience new things. I was a flight attendant for several years for a local start up airline here in Kansas City; through that adventure, I was able to visit many U.S. cities that I likely would not have otherwise. I enjoy reading, theater, movies, and good drink with conversation.

I listen to all types of music from country to rap. I love live bands, but also enjoy the simplicity of just turning on the radio and channel surfing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel like every opportunity in life is a learning experience. Teaching, learning and sharing is something that I do everyday, I mean afterall, I am a teacher - however, it would be nice to carry on a meaningful conversation with someone older than seven.
