About Me

I am a Photographer, and I live in Washington, DC.
I love Freebording (See Freebord.com... yes, no 'a'), snowboarding, Martial Arts, cooking, cleaning, writing, and sports in general. I'm a mildly talented musician.
Spent the last two years teaching Elementary, and recently have transitioned into full-time photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be bouncing around Ireland with some friends. I'm a little bit more adventurous than they are, and I love meeting people. I also love saving money.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to most anything with substance, except screamo and metal.
Was raised on blues, bluegrass, country, r&b, and some hip hop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode a skateboard down Yosemite, and didn't die.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been learning Muay Thai for around 5 years now, and teaching/coaching for about three. One of my joys in life is teaching martial arts, and learning differing techniques from knowledgeable practitioners. I think Martial Arts can teach one to look at a simple or complex thing with fresh eyes.

I have a pretty interesting knowledge of american politics. I am always open to explaining how the US got to the point it's at today, from an objective place.

I love hearing stories. Sharing stories is great, it's easy, but taking in a story is one of my passions. I can never walk a mile in another mans shoes, so it always floors me when I hear about someone else's life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Photography. Wrestling knowledge, BJJ knowledge, Muay Thai Knowledge. Any snacks, I may have.

I would love to interview a host and give them a featured series on my website, along with blog (I don't blog often.).

Countries I’ve Visited

Barbados, Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico

Countries I’ve Lived In

Mexico, United States
