My name is Brandon and I am 23 years old. I am born and raised in the area of Chicago, Illinois, USA. I traveled to Chile in 2017 and Uganda/Rwanda in 2018 as part of Elmhurst College's study abroad program. Ever since these trips, I continue to have a strong desire for travel and adventure. I frequently explore the area around where I live. I always take advantage of the 2 weeks vacation that I get from work to explore this world we live in.

I enjoy listening to most types of music, with my favorites being alternative, metal, and pop. I am always open to listening to new music and this is frequently how I find music that I really like but otherwise would not have ever been introduced to.

I am generally open to watching all types of movies and TV shows, except horror. Right now my favorite TV show is Game of Thrones.

I enjoy reading books about travel, finances, and self help. One of my favorite books that I read recently is called "How to Travel the World on $50 a day" by Matt Kepnes (Nomadic Matt). This books basically explains that long term travel is actually much more affordable than the average person thinks it is. I highly recommend this book.

I play violin and various other instruments (piano, guitar, bass, viola, cello, etc.). I enjoy geography (I have two large maps at my house that show where I have traveled to). I like the concept of personal finance and how it can have such a powerful impact on someone's life (either positively or negatively based on how finances are used). I currently work as a Global Logistics Planner and have a good working knowledge of the global transportation and logistics industry. I have personally visiting FedEx's World Hub in Memphis, Tennessee, USA and I find overnight and 1 day package delivery very fascinating.

I am also severely allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and all types of nuts. I carry an Epipen with me at all times so that any allergic reaction can be controlled if I happen to eat these foods. I am also currently avoiding all dairy products as I have a mild sensitivity and could have an allergic reaction to eating these foods too. I have been allergic to these foods since I was born and over the years I have learned a lot about how this affects me. I am always open to discussing my food allergies with others.

I always enjoy sharing travel experiences. In addition to that, I always find it fascinating that my daily routines can by very different from others who live in different areas of the world. I find it fascinating to sit and discuss similarities and differences between different people and places.
