20 Year old Linguistics student from California, studying in Edinburgh, Scotland! I grew up in the theatre, and though I'm no longer performing, I think it's safe to say I've been left with a dramatic flare.

I love reading horror, playing videogames (I will kick your butt in Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros), and hanging out with my friends. This is all, of course, when I'm not doing everything I can to advance my academic career.

I'm a lifelong learner of languages, and I'm proficient in Spanish and learning Faroese, but I've also studied Russian, Mandarin, and Greek, among others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly, probably the most amazing thing was spending three weeks in the Faroe Islands with a group of strangers, learning Faroese and celebrating my 20th birthday!

I know a lot about a lot of languages, so I can provide some fun facts. If you need a liberal-minded American to reassure you that we're not all like *that*, I can do that too. Also, I'm happy to bring my Nintendo Switch and set it up so we can play Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros Ultimate!
