Hey I’m Brandon! I’m from cape town and I've been backpacking across brazil since may. this is my first time traveling outside my country, and now heading to Rio. Super excited to try Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I’ve always met travelers back home in SA, and now it’s cool to be the one travelling and meeting locals instead.

I’m really into art and all things creative like painting, drawing, tattooing. I brought my tattoo kit with me, so if you’re interested, I’d be happy to give you a tattoo haha :) I also like working with my hands, carpentry, and just building cool shit in general.

I love sharing my culture, especially food. In South Africa we have braai (barbecue) and I make a mean one if I say so myself! I also love a good party but I’m also v happy exploring new places checking out art, or just chilling and talking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me travelling is about people. Hostels are fun but Couchsurfing feels like an even better way to connect and learn about a place. I’m excited to meet new friends, hear/share lots of stories, and experience the world through the eyes of locals!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of things from my South African culture especially food haha! I love to cook and can make you a proper South African braai

I can also share my creativity. I travel with my tattoo kit so if you want a tattoo I’d be happy to do one for you.

I’m also handy with practical stuff like so if something around the house needs a hand, I’m happy to help.
