I'm a firm believer in the mantra: Have less, Do more, Be more. I think it encompasses my outlook on life in general. I'm not a materialistic person who needs money to be happy. I think the real treasure in this thing called life are the moments and experiences you can look back on at the end of your time here on earth and know you had no regrets. While I'm still young I'd like to see as much of the world as possible, but live with this quote: Do not cry knowing you can never see the entire world! Rejoice in the fact that there will always be an unknown to discover.

Meeting locals in the new place you're exploring is in my opinion the best way to truly experience your surroundings. You not only get to learn the customs of the local culture but you can learn things about the city that you would never find in a tourist travel book.
