ABOUT ME

I'm mainly preoccupied with learning the art of living, for my own sake as well as for my contribution to the survival of humanity. I can't really narrow down a description of myself, it changes from morning to night, day to day. I am an understanding person tolerant of anything but phony people. I can't guarantee you'll like me, but I will promise to be genuine and give my honest opinion about whatever comes up. I respect people more who agree to disagree than those who pretend they agree.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf couches and try to entertain while I'm at it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few couches in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, and Australia and have also used the site to meet many locals while travelling.

兴趣

Talking to strangers, drinking good beer, coffee, and tea, eating , writing, snowboarding, frisbee, reading, (almost) anything new and unfamiliar, laughing, and staying up all night to solve the major problems of the world(even if we can't remember the solutions the next morning).

One time my friend chugged a whole container of maple syrup. Another time I planted 4500 trees in one day.

Recently I spent 5 days walking alone through the Karen mountains in Eastern Burma.

I have some specific knowledge about environmental engineering, carpentry & energy efficient housing, tree planting, Burmese refugees, and how to be a maritime Canadian, and I can share if you want!
