ABOUT ME

I am a musician first, I suppose. Guitar and banjo are my bread and butter. What is there to know? I like good conversations, much like anybody else. I like making memories. I'm a Libra, so go figure. I read and like to think deeply about a lot of different kinds of things. I have passions, so on and so forth, but sometimes feel melancholy, thinking about the state of the world and how hard it is to get by. I wanna see the world while it's still worth seeing.

PHILOSOPHY

I wouldn't call myself a hedonist, but I don't feel guilty for enjoying all the pleasures of life. If it's something pleasant and I've heard good things, I'm not above trying it. And as for sharing ideas, I'm open to any kind of conversation. Learning about others, learning about the world, there's so much to be gained just from communicating, you just have to engage people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only couch surfed once, but I pulled my weight around the place. I mowed the lawn, did the trimmer around the gardens and cleaned the windows inside and out, did dishes, did laundry, walked the homeowners' dog, vacuumed, cleaned the bathrooms. I was essentially a maid and caretaker.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just in it to meet new people, see new places. It's an experience everyone should have, to live on a couch in a place where you've never been and don't know anyone. It has changed me as a person, like affected my soul for real.

Interessi

Music in general, reading and writing, meeting new people. open mic night, just having fun in general. You never know when something can turn into an unforgettably good time.

Musica, film e libri

The works of Voltaire, the Decameron of Boccaccio, and The Republic of Plato are three that I have leather bound which have really inspired me. I love philosophy or anything that can inspire new thought, new growth. I like to think I'm pretty deep. Movies, I can watch almost any movie and enjoy it. As for music, I'm a musician so go figure, I love it all. With a special fondness for jazz. If you like jazz guitar, you'll love Cal Collins.

I haven't really seen or done anything amazing. I don't know, maybe when that crazy guy tight roped across Niagara Falls. That was intense! I couldn't believe he had the guts to try it, and succeeded! Knock that one off the bucket list, guy, you officially just blew my mind...

I am a lover of wisdom, a deep thinker. I like to think I'm well read as well. New Age enthusiast. I know a little bit about all that stuff. If it's mental stimulation you're looking for, I may have some resources you'll enjoy. Wouldn't mind meeting someone who is also a New Age buff, maybe bounce some ideas of one another.
