ABOUT ME

I am a student, researcher, and wayfaring adventurer. Having just returned from living a year in China, I am back in Alabama visiting friends and family until my next and final semester at university begins. I've been a raft guide, worked as an outdoor adventures consultant, an English teacher, and as a counselor to international students at my school. My current psychological research includes a variety of topics, such as: hiking trail ethics, aesthetics, religious fundamentalism, acculturation, and taboo. I also enjoy outdoor activities, such as kayaking, backpacking, and rock-climbing, and I also love to play basketball.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been on Couchsurfing for quite a while, but being a dorm-dwelling student, I haven't had any opportunities to host. Luckily, that has finally changed and I am in a situation where I can host some folks. It's great to see that Couchsurfing has provided a an easy way to find a safe, fun, and exciting place to stay while on the road. I'm looking forward to meeting others to share in adventures.
