About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Brewstravelers365 - Traveling to all 48 continental states exploring American craft beer

ABOUT ME

I am friendly and entirely open minded but can be fairly quiet when in a large group. I enjoy fun conversation with new friends, learning and gaining new experiences every day. I love all animals and originally went to school to be a veterinarian. I studied Biomedical Science in college with a focus on molecular biology and immunology in grad school and took a brief hiatus from research science before undertaking this trip. I am currently traveling the country to support locally oriented craft breweries.

PHILOSOPHY

Do no harm - the Golden Rule

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently surfing while travelling to all 48 continental US states in 2014. Through these travels I have come to understand and respect the amazing community that is Couchsurfing and intend to host fellow travelers regularly upon my return to 'normal' working life.

Interests

Live local music, camping, reading, science, homebrewing, and conversing about the world, big and small, over a tasty beverage.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read current affairs, political philosophy, science (biology and physics), and am getting more into fiction as time allows. I love nearly all music but primarily blues rock and new orleans style jazz. Live shows are always better

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was fortunate enough to visit Hawaii and Yellowstone National Park in the last few years. Both full of amazing, beautiful sites that I will never forget.
