Let's see....traveling, exploring, meeting new people, connecting with natives of the country you travel to and experencing the way various people from different countries with diverse cultural backgrounds live and think and eat, furthermore getting first hand information on the places you travel to from those natives, not to mention the possibility to speak or learn a new language and to understand a good deal about people's ways of life in a foreign country and - the cherry on top of the whipped cream crown being that it all comes free of charge - why not to be on Couchsurfing?
