ABOUT ME

We are three fast and well tempered friends. We have been living together for a while now but it is hard to describe who we are together, as we are all seperate beings, so perhaps I'll give you a brief description of each seperately by drawing on our similarities with the Three Musketeers. It should be noted, however, that Brannon is writing this.

Somos tres amigos del carácter bueno. Hemos vivido juntos antes del viaje. Es dificil a describir a quien estamos juntos. Quizas, necisto que darle una descripción de cada uno por explicando nuestras semejanzas a "The Three Muskateers". Nota: Brannon esta escribiendo este.

Elyse: Athos
Unofficial leader of the group, Elyse is the maternal glue that holds us together. Her instincts for love affection and incredible cooking keep the group happy healthy and strong. Also without her we would be directionless. Swimming in a sea of possible travels while never actually leaving our couch. (Like Athos she does have a mysterious connection to an arch-enemy of our past but she drinks away her guilt.)*

El líder no oficial del grupo, Elyse es el pegamento materna que nos mantiene unidos. Sus instintos de amor, afecto y cocinar increíble mantiene el grupo feliz sanos y fuertes. También, sin ella, estaríamos sin dirección. Nadar en un mar de viajes posibles, mientras que en realidad nunca salir de nuestro sofá.

Laura: Aramis
Like the strong and intriguing Aramis, Laura is strong and intriguing. Ambitious and never sattisfied she has pushed herself to two degrees while working full time to save money for this current adventure and more. Machiavellian is a word that is too often used; but here it seems apt. Laura is clever, inteligent and cute as a button but like Aramis, friendship means more to her than any other worldly possesion.

Brannon: Porthos
I liken myself most to Porthos because I have also impressed many a king with my eating ability. Extoverted, honest and slightly gullible I am also sometimes thought of as comic relief. I love wine, food, music and friends. In no particular order.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At one time, while Elyse was living in Brisbane she was renting the infamous ´Blue House´with her brothers (you may have heard of it) where they happily spent a year hosting couch surfers. At one time, Elyse recalls waking up and stepping over five bodies camped out on mattresses on the lounge room floor. The Blue House was an amazing experience and the beer garden out the back must have hosted people from a hundred or more different nationalities. Lasting friends were made through couch surfing.

Interests

Brannon: Musica. Me gusta mucho tocar la guitarra y el Charango. Es mi primero pasión. Pero tengo solo un charango cuando estoy viajando.
