Born and raised in the USA. Have traveled extensively across the United States and enjoy sharing with others about my travels. Father of ten children. Enjoy traveling and meeting new people and especially learning about how others live.
Enjoy eating many different types of food and to learn why people eat what they do. Our family has always been health conscious and have enjoyed good health because we are careful to eat the best foods. Cooking with other family members and eating together is a significant part of our family heritage.
Very interested in other people's experiences and to learn about their journey in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To host people who are traveling in our area.
When we travel, to meet people in their own settings. To learn about other cultures. To make new friends. To be a blessing to others. We are more interested in the people than just seeing the sights. Sights are often important because of the people and the events that took place there. So we would much rather visit with the people and hear their stories.
And what better way to meet people than in their very own homes, where they are most comfortable - and where they can share about their lives and the history of the places they have been and are familiar with.
