I am a young, fit, fun-seeking person working on expanding my horizons through work and travel. I work 6 months a year in Colorado working with trees, gaining the experience I want to use my skill(s) around the globe. I use my work to gain experience in my hobby of climbing, as well as caring for the organisms that allow us to breathe and be here enjoying each day. Recently learned that I love to dive during my trip to Belize/Honduras, and am pursuing my love of the water by working in a marina and working towards my Divemaster certification. I really enjoy traveling, learning, and working hard to meet my goals. The next step is combining them all to learn to work while traveling. Any pointers are always appreciated :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing to aide me in meeting new people and experiencing things I may miss on my own. We all know how to have fun, but it is the social interaction that builds experiences to new heights. I mesh well with all types of people but feel most at home in situations where there is at least a small 'family' vibe within the larger group, so I guess the real reason I'm here is to find new friends to call family and enjoy life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Learned to fell a tree like a hammer hitting a nail. Visually evaluate the length of the tree, place a small stick (nail) where the head (top) of the tree will fall, and hammer your stick into place. Took a lot of practice and patience but also taught me a skill I have had to employ in many a tight spot.
