About Me

Currently living and working in Kabul, Afghanistan.... If you are randomly around these parts, let me know!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted, surfed, and met people in meet up groups. I am always open to help someone out if they need a place to stay and I love to meet locals and see the "real" way people live when traveling. Surfed in Peru and India. Hosted in Texas and Virginia. Done meet up groups in California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted and surfed. Both been amazing and have met some really cool people. My surfing experience in Peru was one of the best parts of my trip and so unique. Really would not trade surfing in Lima for anything.

Interests

Lacrosse, sustainable development, other cultures, my family and friends, being outdoors, meeting new people, helping people, kids, nature, University of Oregon Sports

Music, Movies & Books

Into the Wild, Shawshank Redemption, 10 Things I hate about you, SuperBad, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Boondock Saints, Green Street Hooligans, Milo and Otis, many more.

I will listen to just about any music, but enjoy country and r&b a lot right now.

Harry Potter and Brian Jacques books. (I am a dork) I am into easy reading fantasy books and other biography type stuff like Helter Skelter, Between a Rock and Hard Place, Game of Thrones series

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Running with the Bulls, something everyone should do in Pamplona at least once in their life. Most exhilarating minute of your life and you can say you have partaken in one of the oldest festivals in the world.

Can also say climbing Machu Picchu now is on this list. Place is crazy, the hike is breath taking, and the energy up there is like nothing else I have ever felt.

Everyone needs to visit Lake Tahoe on the border of California and Nevada. It is really one of the most magical places in the world no matter what time of year. You can get lost on a hike or swimming in the lake in the middle of summer or go snowshoeing and rip through amazing powder in the winter.

Teach, Learn, Share

know some good stuff about wine and lacrosse if you want to know.
