CURRENT MISSION

As of October 2016, I'll be living in Nantes, France while taking part in the TAPIF program. Through this program, I'll be working in several schools giving supplementary English lessons to middle school aged kids (11-15). During my year abroad, I'll have lots of time off to explore not only France but many other european countries. I hope to brush up on my German and pick up some more Spanish before travelling to countries that use those languages. My living situation is unclear as to whether I'll be able to host guests, however I'm really into meet-ups, language exchanges and perhaps being a guest during my travels.

ABOUT ME

I've just finished a BA in Études Françaises from Concordia University – I'll admit right now that I'm a total francophile. Other interests include music, cinéma, and food. I'm looking forward to eating my way through Europe!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that one should live and let live. I like to go with the flow and not plan too far in advance, allowing for the fun spontaneity of life to take over.

I've had some great meet-up experiences through Couchsurfing in the past, notablly while travelling in 2011 while visiting Berlin.
