Hello!

I’m Brandi, a 25 year old photographer, filmmaker, and writer. I grew up in Boston, MA, and recently have decided to pack my life into a car to experience the world on my own. For the last few years, I have been volunteering and opening my home to travelers from around the world, but recently I have felt the itch to go out and experience life away from home again.

I’ve always been a curious and energetic being that seeks understanding, knowledge, and meaningful connection.
In my spare time, I love to cook, be outside, share stories, work on collaborative art projects, and make people laugh. I also love to sing and play guitar, practice yoga, and skateboard, and would be happy to share anything I know!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing on and off for many years, and have hosted people at my own apartment. I've had a really great experience so far and genuinely love showing people around and hanging out.

Interests

Lately I am very drawn to holistic health/natural medicine, yoga, traveling solo, building, teaching, and writing! I love going on spontaneous adventures, seeing a film at the cinema, live music / local shows, hiking, film, the doors, photography, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped all the way across the U.S. with my bestie! Also, met an interesting couple in Iceland that lived completely off their land, surrounded by hundreds of bunnies that they saved from being killed by the Icelandic government!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love dancing and being outside, sharing my art and teaching anyone who is interested. I'd love to learn a new language, and be fully immersed in whatever city or culture I am currently in. I love to show fellow travel the art of film photography, and have fun picnic writing sessions too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always love to cook for my hosts!! I also love to play music/jam with people when the mood strikes! My favorite thing of all is to take portraits, so I would be happy to exchange that with my hosts in exchange for stay.
