Im always doing something artistic,always daydreaming about moving to Detroit and painting all day in my cheapo abandoned house,always trying to convince people to runaway with me to Detroit,always thrifting,junkshopping,refurbishing,and always looking out for the little guy.
Also,I enjoy coffee,napping,sci-fi,etsy.com and alternative,eco housing.

PHILOSOPHY

The Revolution is in your kitchen,meaning that what we buy and create demand for is what is going to determine largely how are future is shaped.You have to be responsible for what you consume,and change can be gradual.This responsibity extends to our society and how we interact with each other.How you actually treat people is more important than what everybody else is doing,you have to be willing to take a chance and extend kindness and respect.We are all neighbours.

Im a new kid at this so right now Im guinea pig for my other friends to see how this works out.Starting with this first trip,hopefully Ill make new friends and further the acceptance of the program.Maybe even become a host down the road.

Did you know that there is a tom of waste in the garment industry?I work in one and we are constantly cutting up garments for little swatches of fabric,then chucking the whole peice.It is really obscene.for this reason I usually shop handmade or thrift stores.Ive also heard the H&M actually cuts up each garment and throws them in the trash when they change up their styles in store.Thats alot of clothes!You can find tons of unique and affordable clothing at www.etsy.com.
