Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to Couchsurfing but have heard about many great things. Now that I am able to travel the world I want to make the absolute most of being in different countries. I am not traveling to go to tourist attractions that I can see in pictures over the internet. I want to learn about cultures and feel what it would be like to actually live in the places I travel to. What better way to do this than Couchsurfing?!

Interests

TRAVELING! As well as learning new languages and gaining as many different experiences as possible. I also enjoy shopping, eating, and hanging out with good people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music (all but country music..I just can't get into it). I like music I can dance to, drink to, drive to, run to, and pretty much live to!

As far as movies, I tend to enjoy comedies and movies that really make you think about the outcome. I don't like when anything is predictable!

I haven't had a lot of time for reading other than my textbooks recently..and I find them to be quite boring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I finally got my Doctorate! It may not sound like a big deal to most but it has been by far the hardest thing I have ever done. I didn't know I was capable of such dedication and put my life on hold to accomplish such an achievement!
