I just finished my unforgettable years spent as a student and I'm now working in Zurich.

ABOUT ME

My name is Florian and I was born and grew up in a (very) little city in the north of Switzerland named Porrentruy. I then moved in different cities to study, included one semester in California. I try to seize every opportunities to travel around the world and meet the locals. I think it's the best way to discover and to know about the city/country I'm visiting.
By speaking with new people who come for anywhere around the world, I also heard about some very interesting life path.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By sharing my life experience and stories. I'm waiting to have my own housing to be able to also host couchsurfers at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent the 2015 summer in California. There, I used for the first time Couchsurfing to hang out with other people and I had a wonderful experience.
Back to the West Coast of North America in 2016, I met couchsurfers in Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland. Lot of great personalities. A trip full of memories!

兴趣

I like to work out after a busy day, it's the way I can changing my mind. So I play several sports : basketball (that I like above all), volleyball (especially beach-volley in summer), badminton, running (when it's the last option) and snowboarding.
I also like to surf. I'll jump on a board whenever I have the opportunity to find a place with waves.

I also play poker for a long time. I did three poker trip with two friends of mine : In London, Cannes (South of France), Prag and the last but not least : Las Vegas. Wonderful memories !

And I use to play drums and I like losing my time by watching viral videos on youtube.

I listen to all kind of music, the choice depends of my mood and the time of the day : chillout music for resting after a long day, hiphop for the motivation during the workout, rock when I travel and drive, deephouse and minimal during the unending parties...

MOVIES

My favorites : Nightcall, Into the wild, No country for old men, Slumdog millionaire, the both OSS117 and Lords of the ring.

BOOKS

I'm not a big reader. I'm reading in my topic of studies (Finance) to stay aware of the current environment. As a matter of fact, I liked the books of Micheal Lewis.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Reach the top of the mountain on a sunny winter day, fasten his snowboard, put on my earphones and launch the playlist, look at the sloping hill and his fresh powder snow, breath deeply and... GO.

Three of my friends and I were in Turkey near the see and we heard that everybody can rent a jet-ski (without a licence) in that country. As the prices were quite low, we go for the most powerful one ! It went really too fast : about 80km/h (50 mph) that we could reach in few seconds. With the speed some waves threw us about 2 meters over the see. It was awesome !

Do we can buy Sambuca somewhere near your home ? With another secret ingredient I can make you a really impressive shot. (I discovered it in an after-ski bar, really amazing, tasty and mind-blowing)
