Hi there!
I am a 20 year old Canadian, living in Newcastle while on a study abroad term until June. I study fine arts and psychology . Living in Canada is not very convenient for travel, especially European travel, and so I'm hoping to take full advantage of this time to see some more of the world. I would take guests but I live in student accommodation right now, and I don't know how my flatmates would feel about it, maybe once I'm back in Canada.

Random Facts about me;
- When I finish school I want to be an art therapist.
- I love sweets, especially chocolate
- I'm a total night owl (but I'm good at being quiet as well so I wouldn't disturb anyone)
- I tried to teach myself Braille just for fun, with little success but I might try to pick it up again. Same with Sign language.
- I took Dutch in first year at uni just for fun, I'm not Dutch, I had never met anyone Dutch at that point
- I can say "How are you?" in a few different languages like Korean, Arabic, Hindi, etc.. Thanks to a decent amount of cultural diversity in my friend group back home

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch surfing through a friend. I'm hoping to travel a lot while I'm in Europe and couch surfing provides interesting opportunities to meet new people, while getting to experience a new place through the eyes of someone who lives there.
