I am a child of God living in my home town, cow-town! I live in a home that has been in our family for a few generations and I am raising a fine young man (my son, 12) and a fur-baby (my cat). I am a school teacher, but I choose to substitute teach, mostly, and I supplement my income by renting out a few suites, including my own basement. I enjoy working with teenagers and am currently a Young Life volunteer leader (my current passion). I take good care of my health and well-being and enjoy getting to know others and be authentically known. I love Jesus an awful lot and belong to an awesome community here in Westgate/Rosscarrock!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here right now because I want to couch surf in Montreal in July! I have previously surfed in France in 2007 and hosted a woman in my Edmonton home also in 2007; I had a different last name back then! See old profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/brenda34
I wouldn't mind hosting other travelling women this summer in the last half of July or in August. It would be fun to get to know new people!
