About Me
ABOUT ME
I love life, exploring and culture. I grew up in the US, but am an avid traveler and have been to about 70 countries. Work in the areas of international law, childlaw, children's rights, government, and restorative justice. Recently moved from DC to NYC.
PHILOSOPHY
Kindness and compassion! If you google quotes by Margaret Mead and Oliver Wendall Holmes, Jr, I would likely agree with many of those.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently studying for a second bar exam while working and have super full schedule (and if not that, out of town or friends coming) so I can't host right now. I always looking for immediate, short, and long-term adventures and ideas however.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've spent a lot of time on couches, but mostly with friends, friends-of-friends or through other networks (like one for JET alumni living in Japan, etc).My only real experience with this site was in Brazil. I had the BEST TIME, though, and am still good friends with the families I surfed with. I love the concept, community, and appreciate the resource.
Interests
Running, travel, reading, hiking, exploring, art, music, spending time with friends and family.
