Overview
About Me
I've always been based in Adelaide living for a few weeks/months overseas.
I really enjoy coming to the Weekly meet-ups in Adelaide. Went to one 16 weeks ago and haven't missed a single one since. I help organise them now.
I travel a few times a year and I love backpacking, but because of work, I can't do it as much as I'd like. I feel like I'm backpacking again at the meet-ups, hearing stories of people's travels and other people's home countries.
I've traveled extensively, racking up over 100 flights- all just for holidays.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment I need to organise my small flat, to make it suitable for couch surfers. I haven't couch-surfed or hosted through the website, but before I got involved in the website, I did both, just with people I've been put in touch with, or hosted people I've met interstate or overseas.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a huge variety of music- triple J radio station covers most of it. I Love Womad- live world music festival in March in Adelaide and any other festivals that play Triple J style music..
I'll watch most movies, including foreign. I really like Comedy and non-fiction- especially doco/films or social justice based movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to a mates sisters wedding last year in Nairobi, Kenya. Damn they know how to party!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Been to over 20 countries, so I have a lot of stories.
I love to learn about countries from other peoples experience too.
Lately when venturing overseas, I've gone to developing countries and if people are interested- I like to share what I've found out about letting the money you spend as a tourist, stay with the poorest people in those areas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An easy-going nature. I'll never complain and I'm always keen to do my bit towards making my stay easy for a host. I'm a good listener and have a few stories to share.
